Vanessa Heimrich is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Antioch University with a deep passion for trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. Her work centers on supporting individuals and families impacted by trauma, identity development, and systemic oppression, with particular attention to BIPOC communities, neurodivergent individuals, and survivors of interpersonal violence. 

Vanessa integrates creative and experiential approaches into her clinical lens, believing that healing occurs through both connection and self-expression. She is especially interested in the intersections of culture, identity, and healing, and is committed to fostering spaces that honor resilience, empowerment, and authentic selfhood.
