Life has many ups and downs, sometimes life is easy, and other times it can be quite difficult to manage even basic tasks. Finding someone who will listen and be beside you, as you go through hard times can be an invaluable tool for coping with life’s challenges. In my practice, I use a nonjudgmental stance to collaborate with you on working towards your goals in therapy. Together we can create meaning from your past and create sustainable habits that may help you in your future. In my view of therapy, the relationship between the client and counselor is at the center, and it requires nonjudgemental human connection. My counseling style integrates person centered, narrative therapy, and holistic approaches to provide trauma informed care to my clients. I primarily work with the queer population and those experiencing grief.

I specialize in working with grief, and helping make meaning out of losses so that you can move forward. I believe that grief can take many different forms, including; death, the end of a relationship, and transitioning of identity. In particular, I enjoy working with the queer community to help queer people navigate how grief and loss has impacted their life. Using a holistic lens, I can help you rebuild your story in order to build a stronger foundation for tomorrow.

I am passionate about working with the queer community, whether you are early on in your identity exploration or you have been secure in your identity for a decade. Being queer is an essential part of us as people, but is only one part of our identity constellation. I look forward to being a part of your journey, and to learning your stories.
