CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
Hello! My name is Jack, and I am a therapist intern working from an evidence-based therapy (EBT) modality. I primarily support individuals with OCD, high-anxiety, ADHD, and other interpersonal struggles. These experiences can often lead to heightened levels of self-doubt, invalidation, and emotional dysregulation, and so my goal is to help clients find a better understanding of their own emotions and experiences while learning how to respond to them with compassion and intention.
Alongside evidence-based therapy, I like to integrate a humanistic approach that emphasizes trust, authenticity, and collaboration within the therapeutic relationship. I believe a solid foundation of safety and rapport is extremely helpful for meaningful therapeutic work, and I strive to create an environment where clients are heard, validated, and supported.
The work that I do is partly pulled from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which can be helpful when stress or anxiety interferes with emotional regulation. By working together to build emotional awareness and create practical coping skills, I hope to help you move towards greater clarity, self-acceptance, and emotional balance.
In addition to EBT work, I also have experience with perinatal therapy working with newborn parents. What I found from this was that even just validation through normal conversation can be so impactful, and I hope to bring that to you as well. Seeking out therapy is a meaningful and courageous first step, and I would be honored to support you on that continued journey.
